SESSIONS ARE ONE-ON-ONE, CONDUCTED VIA ZOOM, AND CAN BE COUNTED TOWARDS AUSTRALIAN ANNUAL CPD HOURS.

Clinical Supervision

These sessions are for clinicians from all therapeutic backgrounds who work with complex and dissociative clients. Grounded in a comprehensive understanding of developmental and attachment trauma theories, we explore how childhood trauma impacts clients' personality structure, contribute to fragmentation of the sense of self and to a chronically dysregualted nervous system.

We delve deeply into part work, drawing from a range of therapeutic approaches, including Schema Therapy, Ego State Therapy, and Internal Family Systems (IFS). These frameworks help us understand clients' symptoms, presentations, therapeutic needs, and the therapeutic dynamics (i.e., transference and counter-transference) that unfold in your sessions.

The following approaches and modalities guide my case conceptualisation, treatment planning and supervision sessions:
• The Theory of Structural Dissociation of the Personality: To understand how childhood trauma results in fragmentation of the sense of self and impacts the personality structure.
• The Polyvagal Theory: To explore how trauma affects the nervous system and survival coping mechanisms during traumatic events, and its ongoing biopsychosocial impact in the present.
• Somatic Strategies: To ground the nervous system when triggered outside its window of tolerance.
• Ego State Therapy: To work with the different parts of the personality, each shaped by trauma, and their perspectives on the self, others, and the world.
• Schema Therapy & Imagery Techniques: To explore and understand clients’ experience of their parts through the mind’s eye. Imagery is combined with EMDR’s bilateral stimulation to soften stuck parts and shift rigid internal experiences.
• EMDR (standard protocol and modified procedures): To process traumatic memories that influence clients’ perceptions, emotions, body sensations, behaviours, and responses to present situations.
• The Progressive Approach to EMDR: To combine part work with the bilateral stimulation of EMDR, enhance information processing across the different parts of the personality, reduce dissociative phobia, foster collaboration between parts, and prepare the system for the standard protocol of EMDR.

My goal is to teach you these concepts, support your clinical growth, and meet your professional development needs. Together, we build your confidence and expertise in working with trauma-related presentations, including personality and dissociative disorders.
